New Jobs Suck . . .
Today is Liz Adam’s first day on the job. However, before she is fully briefed, alarm bells sound, and Liz finds herself thrust into a centuries-old conflict between humans and immortals.
By day two, Liz may have a better understanding of what she has gotten herself into . . .
. . . if she survives the night.
Work Can Be Draining . . .
Liz Adams survived her first day as an agent of the Center for Specter Control... barely.
Saving humans stranded in a town full of vampires wasn't challenging enough. Now, Liz and partner Craig Wright have the unenviable task of finding the rogue vampire, Vladimir Rurik, before he can revive a diminished vampire race.

Until then, people will die . . . or worse . . .
. . . and no one is safe.
Immortality is Hard to Swallow . . .
The course of Liz Adams’ life may have changed, but not her desire to destroy the rogue vampire Vladimir Rurik.

Vlad has his own plans, however, and Liz is an essential part of them.

Maybe with the help of a new partner from the Vatican, Father Thomas Lovac S.J, she may finally put an end to Vlad and accept what she has become . . .

. . . or at least learn how to live with it.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR

For forty years, Jeff worked as a scenic designer in the theatre, using wood, canvas, and paint to bring a playwright's vision to life on the stage. Today, he has replaced the drafting table with a keyboard, using words to build his own stories, where readers cast the actors, construct the sets, and direct the action for that unique venue found only in their imaginations.
