Jeff Seats lives in Portland, Oregon, where he has worked in the entertainment industry as a scenic designer, set decorator, and production designer for both stage and motion pictures. As a scenic designer in the theatre, his job was to help bring a playwright’s story to life by creating a visual world in which the characters/actors live.

Jeff brings his love of gritty monster films to the printed page with the Monster Keeper Series.

 

He is a collector of 1960-70s Space Race memorabilia from robots to rocket ships, lunch pails, ray guns, and mission patches. He is an avid photographer specializing in black and white imagery with film noir cinematic influences. Being a visual creator for most of his life, Jeff (and his mother) were surprised to discover that he can also write. Vamp Town is his first novel.
